Peru Chiclayo 2008 Soccer Mission
Here we are again, preparing to embark on our second soccer mission to the Chiclayo area of Peru. The trip this year involves many of the same people as last year and will take place June 21 2008 through June 28 2008. Planning and preperation are well underway.

Introduction to Piura:
Piura is a city in northwestern Peru. It is the capital of the Piura Region and the Piura Province.
The population is approximately 400,000.
It was here that Spanish Conqueror Francisco Pizarro founded the first Spanish city in South America, San Miguel de Piura, in 1532, thus earning the modern day city its Peruvian nickname: "La Primera Ciudad"- meaning: the first city.
